What paper stock do you print on?
All paper stocks we use are of premium quality, including recycled papers. Please see our paper guide for a comprehensive list.
What kind of press do you use?
We use state-of-the art Komori, Heidelberg and KBA-sheet-fed presses.
What kind of inks do you use?
We use eco-friendly inks and solvents based on soy which emit very low traces of volatile organic compounds (VOCs). VOCs are the fumes emitted into the air from inks, solvents and cleaners as they are used or while they dry. Our VOC levels are one of the lowest in the world and much lower than the required amounts set by the AQMD. In comparison, petroleum based inks release a much greater amount of VOCs than soy inks. Soy inks are also extremely beneficial during the paper recycling process since removing soy ink stains from paper is much easier than other artificial inks. Soy inks are easily washable and cause less damage to the paper fibers. As a result, the recycled paper is much brighter and fit for reuse.
What line screen do you print with?
We print with a 200 line screen (Lines Per Inch).
Does your standard portfolio include print with spot color(s)?
No. We print all our standard products using a 4-color process, meaning that all of our products are printed with Cyan, Magenta, Yellow, and Black inks only. We do not use any inks other than CMYK.
Can I request printing with spot color(s)?
Yes, you can send us a custom quote request at any time! Please be advised that not all paper stocks are available when printing with spot colors. We will make a recommendation if the paper stock you inquire about is not availble at our production facility.
What kinds of varnish (coating) do you use?
Depending on the product, it will either have Aqueous Coating, UV-Coating, or no coating at all.
What's the drill hole size for hang tags?
The drill hole will be 1/8" (0.0125").
